Pension Appeals Board
If you are dissatisfied with the decision of the Review Tribunal, you can apply for leave to appeal, within 90 days, to the Pension Appeals Board. There is not right to appeal to the Pension Appeals Board.
Applying for leave to appeal means you are asking for permission to appeal your case. You must present compelling reasons for why such permission should be granted. Here is a copy of the Leave to Appeal Application.
I strongly urge you to consult a lawyer when preparing your application for leave to appeal. If leave is not granted, you will not get the opportunity to argue your case in front of the decision-makers.
Also, if you are successful at the Pension Appeals Board, the Board will pay your expenses, including travel, hotel accommodations, lost wages from work, and up to $300 towards your legal fees.
